While they were standing, waiting for the train, Nicole suddenly turned to Abby. "You're doing it again," she said.

"Doing what?"

"Making decisions about what we do."

"But...Nicole, I just made a suggestion," she said.

Nicole looked her in the eye...right in the eye. The two were exactly the same height. "I'm the Mom, and I'm in charge."
