Today is the day. The day your parents finally get you a pet. You have asked and begged for years to finally have one and they caved in a week ago. After coming home from school, you enter your home and there she was. In a cage on the living room table. Your mouse. Although it wasn't your first pick, your parent wanted to see if you could handle a smaller animal before getting you something else. You hold the cage up to your face. "Hello there, Sophie."
