It was just another day in the life of the alien soldier, Leroy, called Nick.
Nick was in a stroller being pushed by his mother, while his brother Justin accompanied her; they were out for a walk.
Nick had seen this type of stroller before, but in his world these strollers were like cars for babies, but here they were pushed by their parents and were called strollers for babies.
It was strange for him, but at least it was comfortable, so there was nothing to complain about.
After walking around for a while, his mother went to a place called the Bank. Upon entering the building, Nick was surprised by the place, and it was completely uncolored, a gray and black that made him uncomfortable.
So his mother waited in a long line to be served by one of the employees while Nick stood there in a baby stroller doing nothing but listening to the sound of other people talking, the beeps of recorded messages, and the complaints of grown-ups coming and going in the room. He didn't like it one bit.
He made a grumpy face, but his mother gave him a pacifier to at least distract him. His brother also, seeing his temper, waved a toy rocket near him to cheer him up a bit.
Nick waited there for a long time; he was already thinking about crying to ask for food, when it was his mother's turn to be served. He stood there waiting, not paying much attention to the conversation until something made him pay attention.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Riley, but we can't accept a loan from you; there are several... little impediments to being able to proceed with the loan." The employee says in a cold and freezing tone.
"But... I need the money; everything is in check from the last time. There's nothing you can do." The mother asks the man in the suit.
"I'm sorry, but this is out of my jurisdiction. Next!" The man wanted to move on to the next person to be served, but Nick's mother begged.
"Look, I need the loan... It's not for me; it's for my children's future. The rent has been going up lately, and I really need the money because otherwise we'll go through financial difficulties, and I don't want to run out of food. I care for my children... please." Nick's mother says.
"I'm sorry, but we can't go ahead with the loan right now. Next time!"
Nick's mother couldn't believe it and was shocked by the bank employee's ignorant and unsympathetic response.
Nick heard everything and became angry. Seeing his mother being ignored and treated like that made him want to explode the employee for a moment, but he held himself back, just imagining a hypothetical scenario of him destroying the entire bank with his little hands.
At one point, the bank employee notices Nick in the baby carriage and tries to wave to him in a friendly way. But Nick frowns and gives the clerk a piercing, venomous look, which makes him stop waving.
"Huh, it seems he doesn't like me." The bank employee says ironically, but Nick's mother didn't care. She kept quiet and then left the clerk's presence and went to the bank lobby.
In the bank lobby, Nick's mother waited to be served once more while she let her oldest son, Justin, play in a children's area there. Nick stood there in the stroller, irritated and with his arms crossed. He really wanted to teach that employee and the bank a lesson for being rude to his mother.
As he thought about this, a very familiar and friendly voice appeared to him.
"Hey." Nick looks to the side. "Why the ugly face?" It was Geek, who was in another baby carriage next to Nick.
"Geek?" Nick says quietly so as not to draw attention, but apparently all the grown-ups were too busy to notice the two babies talking.
"What are you doing here?" He continues.
"Mommy and Daddy needed to pay some bills at the bank, and since they didn't want to pay a babysitter, they brought me along!"
"Oh, okay."
"So, what are YOU doing here?"
"Mommy needs a loan, but the bank won't let her... The bank won't share it; it's selfish!" Nick said, irritated as he remembered the situation.
"Well, technically, the bank is not selfish; it collects money and lends it when necessary to institutions and people. It's not like on our planet, where we always share our toys." Geek gives his answer, and Nick is left thinking.
On the planet of the giant babies, there was no such thing as 'money', it was quite different, because there was no idea of money or economy on the planet. Everything that involved lending was actually about lending toys from one baby to another. Famously exchanging toys, the robots on the planet made several toys for the babies to entertain themselves and play with.
Back to Nick, he finishes his thought and concludes that there must be something wrong with the 'selfish bank'.
"If the bank lends money to people, then why didn't it lend it to Mom?" He asked Geek, who also thought about this and some other irregularities he's been seeing lately.
"I don't know... but! I feel like it's not just that." He continued.
"The price has been increasing lately, and that seems strange. Nick, I know I shouldn't tell you, but when I was near one of the employee rooms, I heard one of them talking about denying more loans, and then trying to take everything for himself." Nick was curious.
"So these adults at the bank are keeping money... just for themselves!?"
"If you want to know my answer, Yes."
Nick was irritated by the injustice and selfishness these adult bank employees were doing to other adults.
"B-but that's not right! It's wrong! It's the law to share and lend to others!" Nick said.
"Totally." Geek just agreed.
Nick thought of a way to end this malicious selfishness when an idea came to him.
"Geek, do you know if this bank has any kind of meeting?" Nick asked the other baby.
"Well, from what I saw on my computer bracelet, there's going to be a business meeting tonight." Geek answered normally, and then Nick asked another question.
"You can erase data, records and any kind of event... right?"
"Yes, I think so. Why do you ask?" Geek looked sideways at Nick, who then gave him a mischievous smile.
"I have an idea..."
[AT NIGHT]
At midnight at the Bank, the long-awaited meeting of employees was taking place to divide the money. No one knew or realized that the local bank was being run by corrupt people.
The meeting went on normally until small earthquakes appeared and then got stronger.
The corrupt people didn't understand anything until suddenly the roof of the bank was ripped off, and they were in front of a huge baby.
"Hello little bugs~" Nick said with the mischievous smile of a child in front of a defenseless anthill.
The adults there were frightened by Nick's giant baby.
"I heard you've been keeping all the grown-ups' money for yourselves and don't want to lend it to anyone else... Tsk Tsk Tsk. Don't you know it's wrong? Don't you know you're being selfish!" Nick says to the small adults as he crushes the building with his baby body.
"You know, I don't like sharing my things either, but in the end I do it because it's kind of the right thing to do, but if there's one thing I really hate, it's selfish people, like you bad adults!" Nick says, and then with brute force he rips off the sides of the building, leaving it open for him to get to the adults.
Smiling, Nick sits in front of the building, facing the adults. He grabs one of them, who tries to fight against his little hands, but it's useless.
"For this, I'm going to ground you... permanently!" Nick says and puts the adult in his hand in his mouth and then swallows.
"Hmm, Yummy! Piper was right, you make a good snack!" Nick then advanced on the adults in the bank.
Nick made a huge mess in the city bank; he broke down walls, ate more adults, crushed others with his baby feet, and threw some in his diaper until an adult was left trapped in his hand.
The adult begged the giant baby to spare him, but Nick decided to do something first. He forced the bank employee to lend the money to Nick's mother, who had asked for it that morning, and to some other adults who were in trouble. After finishing, Nick put the adult back on the floor of the bank that was still standing.
Nick turned to leave, but he was pretending. Nick then lifted his butt and fell in a fake on the bank and the poor employee, crushing the entire building at once, destroying it completely.
"Oops, it looks like I... and... oh, wait." Nick was about to scoff when his little stomach made a noise and then contracted. Nick then farted in the city bank, leaving a stench in the air.
"Oops, he-he, it happens, right?" Nick said he was a little embarrassed but satisfied with his work.
[TOMORROW]
The city woke up to an unprecedented situation; the city bank was completely destroyed. No one understood what happened, but last night they heard the sounds of an earthquake, something being destroyed and then a huge fart!
The people who tried to go out to see what was happening were unable to due to the bad smell outside.
Even so, many were trying to understand what happened to the bank, but leaks of information revealed cases of corruption and coercion within the bank, which made the destruction of the bank the lesser of two evils since many people had lost their money and were now demanding answers from the mayor and other politicians.
Some adults received their denied loans back and were surprised by this. The city government tried to get them back but decided it would be better to leave it that way since the number of funds given was low and not specific or large.
Nick was having his diaper changed while listening to all this on TV; he sighed with satisfaction with his work. His mother had gotten her loan of the money she needed, and Geek took care of the rest to avoid any traces caused by him, so nothing went wrong.
"All set, new and shiny." Nick's mother said as she finished changing his diaper. Nick expressed comfort and joy to her.
She put Nick back in the crib before paying attention to Justin.
Nick was happy...
