Stash it in her bag and take it with her

She slid her backpack off, setting it down next to the strange ray. Then, she gingerly put her book away, before laying the strange gun over it, she didn't want to run the risk of damaging it, after all.

She immediately noticed the extra weight in her backpack as she put it back on, new thoughts circling through her mind as she continued walking. What was this? Was it a strange alien blaster? An ancient instrument? Or even just some lost prop? As much as Amber wanted this to be an interesting weapon of some kind, she was mostly set on the idea of it being a prop, and would most likely return it to where she found it after some inspection.

Amber continued on her way to_____
