As much as you tried, LLEAN couldn't see any points that were worth keeping you. Sure the recon was a good idea but the size was a problem. The servant part sounded nice but she doesn't really need that for her avatar. She could just sell the NPC but she's not really in any hurry for currency. Nothing in the shops in her mind is worth caring about.
You see LLEAN turn around as it would seem she is saying no “Thanks for trying, but I'm gonna have to pass. Just wait until the next person finds you and try again”
You weren't gonna take a no. Acting purely on emotion you start running. Jumping off the table and down onto her boot. Landing hard onto it as you gripped it. If your not gonna be in the company of this girl, you got to at least catch a ride.
Above LLEAN stopped and looked down at you. Hanging on her boot as she was actually feeling a bit bad. He must really be programmed to not give up. As she saw you hanging, she felt really annoyed. Another reason she doesn't want you with her is the fact that you keep reminding her of her early days. Days where she was called ‘Giant and Tall Freak’ in the real world. She doesn't like being this much taller. Raising her boot up she was about to thump you off when suddenly she stopped
Cause they're was bullets firing! Bullets hit the wall in front of her as she instinctively ducked under some cover. Ducking under the window it was coming from she had a problem. It was constant, they knew exactly where she was and she was pinned down.
“Darn it, i wasted too much time” She said to herself, craning her head down as she looked at you.
“Okay, so this my first gunfight” You joke up to her, a look of nervousness in your eyes “Hopefully you don't die... Sorry”
Some more bullets came pass as she did the only thing she could. She blind fired her SMG. The bullets of course didn't hit anything. This was really bad for her. If only she could raise her head up a bit she could finish them. “What am i going to do?”
You see LLEAN in contemplation as it was obvious she was thinking. She has no idea which move she can make to win. While she was staring her eyes laid on you. You see them go wide open as she got an idea. Reaching down she grabbed you from her boot
“Oh hey, what are we running or-”
You didn't finish the sentence, cause you got cut off by her throwing you out of the window! You fly through the air and land hard onto the ground. Hitting hard as you breath a sigh of pain. Okay that hurt. You get up and see people looking at you, and they were shocked.
“What the hell is that?” You hear one voice say with a lot of surprise.
“Uh..... Don't shoot!” you shout raising your hands
They didn't get a chance to shoot, cause they were gunned down! Within seconds the shooters were shot down themselves. Their avatars disappearing super fast. “Ok...”
You see LLEAN jump out of the window and walk closer. Her towering over you as she crouched. Looking down at you “You know, i have to admit. You are a pretty good distraction. That moment of shock when they first see you, it can make them really vulnerable”
“What if they didn't look, what if they just shot!” You say back up to her as she didn't really care. Your just a NPC, or at least thats what she was thinking.
“Look, the bottom line is I'm going to be keeping you. As a distraction” She admitted. Granted you don't like this role, being tossed out into the battlefield like a attention grenade, but at the same time your not being abandoned so thats good.
LLEAN reaches down and grabs you, dropping you down onto her shoulder as she readied her weapon “Now if they were here, chances are others are too. And they heard the gunshots, we need to move”
“If we do find more people are you going to throw me again?”
“Without hesitation” She admitted as she started walking. You grabbed onto the pink under you as you make sure your not gonna fall. At least your with her now, and maybe you can convince her that your not an actual NPC.
