As far as you knew, it had been several days since you had woken up outside of your home. You woke up to quite a terrifying situation. Apparently while you slept, you had been kidnapped! When you first woke up you discovered that you were chained onto some kind of table, like the kind used on Frankenstein's monster. There was also a massive, bright light shining in your face, which prevented you from seeing around you.
You were incredibly scared, and mumbled desperately to yourself, trying to convince yourself that it was all a bad dream. Those hopes were destroyed when you heard a dastardly voice speak to you. The voice was heavily modulated, but you could understand what they were saying. They congratulated you for being the first person to successfully survive one of their experiments. Your reward? Was to continue being a test subject!
You tried to reason with whoever had taken you, beg for mercy and to be spared. They ignored you and insisted that as super villain dedicated to experimentation, they could not pass on having a live test subject. Describing themselves as a super villain seemed dramatic to you, but you were to scared to snark.
The villain began tests immediately, revealing themselves to you. They stood in front of the large light though, camouflaging themselves as a black silhouette. They were brandishing a large needle, a sheen of light reflecting off its clean tip. You struggled futilly against your bonds and grunted, fear and adrenaline trying to spur you to move.
The villainous silhouette sneered. “Heh. What, you think you’re All Might or something?” They said getting closer to you. Using their free hand, they smash your head back onto the table. “I did some tests while you were unconscious. You are normal, you have no quirk. But I guess that doesn’t make sense to you.”
Your mind clouded by fear, you didn’t really understand anything the villain was saying. All you knew was that you really wish that this was a nightmare. “Don’t scream, alright?” The villain spoke, bringing the needle closer to you. “I’d rather not waste time having to put a muzzle on you.” Without any warning, the needle was plunged into your side and its contents injected into you. You do your best to keep quiet, but a moan of pain still escapes you.
“Are sure you’re wondering: ‘What dastardly thing did that villain inject me with!?” The villain mocked you. “Well that was just anesthetic. I’m not completely rotten.” They cackled, pulling another needle out of nowhere. “THIS is the first experiment. Just something I whipped up while I was bored. Maybe we’ll get to more important experiments later.” Once again, you felt the prick of a needle. “If you survive long enough.”
Everything after that was an inconsequential blur for you. Whatever the villain had injected into you had an effect even they hadn’t guessed. It knocked you unconscious and hours later you woke up to see the results. The result was a much larger world and an even more intimidating villain. You had been shrunk! A terrible situation had been made massively worse.
The villain was as upset about it as you were. They had lost a value test subject for most of their experiments. They could do some token experiments on you, but nothing interesting like they wanted. Their first test was to see how long you could survive being treated like an insect. You were dumped into a jar with holes in its little and given a pitiful amount of food and water. Then you were left alone, in the dark and abandoned like a kid’s insect in a jar.
You managed to survive for a few days, but now your food and water had run out. You used the last of it this morning and now there was nothing left to help you stave off dying of thirst or starvation. Unless that villain came back, which you doubted would happen. Your back against the glass, you sat alone, dejected and hopeless.
For a while, the silence you were familiar with was the only thing you heard. But then there was a new sound. Unfortunately it was not the sound of footsteps, but the sound of… rocks? It was very faint, but outside of the walls of the lair, you could hear what sounded like a bunch of rocks rolling. You listen curiously, bewildered about what it could be. Then it stopped abruptly. You hold your breath, hoping it would start again.
Without warning, the sound of an avalanche crashed into your ears as one of the walls got obliterated by some unseen force! Light flooded the pitch darkness of the room and you cringe as it stings your eyes. You cover your eyes with your hand and rub them unsure of how to react to light after missing it for so long. Slowly, you try to look out from beneath your hand and eventually your vision settle to a normal level.
“Meow meow!” You hear a woman exclaim in a way that sounded like laughing. “I know he mission briefing said we should try to be stealthy, but with powers like mine that’s not really an option. Ah well, this will probably make the mission quicker anyways.”
You immediately, run towards the voice and ram yourself against the glass. It didn’t budge an inch, but it made some noise. You looked at the woman who was your potential savior. She was not what you expected. She dressed like some kind of superhero! Maybe that kidnapper really meant something when they called themselves a villain.
The woman in question was quite a site to see. She had long blonde hair that was mostly tied behind her except for one long bang in front of her face and she had striking blue eyes. But that was where her normalness ended. She had a strange outfit on and two blue dots painted beneath her eyes. Her outfit was a similar blue and consisted of a sleeveless top, a blue skirt, some kind of utility belt, and almost knee high boots. She also had a headband that looked like cat ears and a cat tail for some reason, but it was fake. Clearly she was some kind of cat superhero, one with unrelated rock powers maybe?
It didn’t matter what powers she had, you wanted her help no matter what! Desperately, you pound against the glass as hard as you can. Fortunately, the woman was close to your prison and was able to hear your pounding! She looks right at you and after a pause, her eyes go wide. “Holy mackerel! Is that a…” She trailed off before she finished, moving closer and grabbing your prison in her paw gloves.
Quickly, she undoes the lid and tilts the jar down towards her waiting palm. You tumble out of your long time prison and into the soft palm of her cat gloves. Tossing the jar aside, she raises her fingers slightly, creating a sort of wall around you.
The giant woman places her free hand against her head band and begins to speak. “Team, I have infiltrated the base and-” You heard a loud voice coming out of the other end. “I know I busted my way into the base! I did it on purpose, obviously!” She said, defending her actions. The other voice barked at her again. “My quirk is no good for stealth and you know that! If you wanted stealth you should’ve brought someone else!” The voice on the other end seemed to calm down and talked normally.
“Alright. But I have something big to deal with here. I found a civilian inside of the targets lair.” She paused for a moment, the voice speaking again. “Confirmed. There is a civilian in the building but he is under my care. He uh, is not in normal condition but doesn’t appear to be in immediate danger.
The other voice talks in a commanding tone, it sounded like it was giving instructions. “Roger, I will look after the civilian while you continue the mission with the others.” The woman removes her hand from her headband and looks down at you with a smile. “Don’t worry. Hero, Pixie-Bob, is here now. I’ll get you out of here right away!”
Her hand closes around you a little tighter, but you are still not in her grip. What happens next?
