"Huh? What's that?" you asked, though you were fairly sure you already knew the answer; after all, Usalia had already stated her intention to help you regain your size in some way.
Sadly, that wasn't what the Overlord meant.
"You said you've been wandering the castle for a few days, plip?" she recalled. You were involuntarily forced to revive the hell you had gone through; even in a peaceful Netherworld, you had somehow managed to find a way to be tortured.
"Y-Yeah," you replied.
You couldn't help but to frown, as now the cause of your appearance here had a face and a name: Majorita.
However, the thought of the girl, whom you were pretty sure was the terrible Demon General you had heard about before, was short-lived.
Noticing you staring at nothing in particular with an upset expression, Usalia wondered what was going through your head, but she simply disregarded it as you being grumpy about your size, or perhaps you hadn't enjoyed your meal.
Whatever the reason, she mused, you were going to feel a lot better once you got some sleep.
"Would you like some rest, plip?" the Overlord asked nicely, a gentle smile on her face and a gentle sparkle in her eyes, which were soon replaced by concern,
"How much rest have you gotten when you were wandering around?"
You shuddered at the memory; you recalled rarely stopping to drink because you wanted to meet Usalia, but there were moments when you just couldn't bring your starved self to walk any further, in which point you would have had to find a corner for yourself in order to not become a stain under someone's shoe while you rested.
"... Not much." you admitted, suddenly feeling all the tiredness of these past few days; meeting Usalia was what had kept you going, and now that you were finally with her, your body had figured it could finally get some real rest.
The rabbit girl nodded.
"Then, you should really get some sleep, plip." she suggested,
"We can deal with everything else once you wake up, plip."
Looking at the giantess, you couldn't agree more, nor you could be more thankful for such line of thinking; you remembered something at the mention of sleep.
"... Hey, didn't you say you have a place to sleep as well here?"
The giantess nodded.
"I did." she answered, gently picking you up from the table, pushing the emptied plate of curry aside as she stood up,
"And that's where you're going to be sleeping, plip."
You felt your cheeks flaring up.
"O-Ove- Usalia! In your b-bedroom!?" you exclaimed.
"Yes, plip." the young Overlord answered as she began to walk to another door in the far end of the room, which you guessed led to her bedroom,
"You can sleep in my bed, and I'll figure something for your sleeping arrangements, plip."
Once again, that extreme kindness of hers surprised you.
"Thanks, Usalia." you murmured as she opened the door; unsurprisingly, the bedroom wasn't terribly luxurious, though the bed in it was quite big.
The Overlord took a few steps, before noticing that something was off: she didn't recall having tidied her bed nor having requested anyone to do it since she last slept in here.
Unless- her...!
A growl escaped Usalia's mouth as an annoyed frown formed on her face.
Not here, too!
"Is... Is there something wrong, Usalia?" you asked, confused by her sudden change of mood.
"No! Nothing is wrong, plip!" she quickly replied, not even bothering to hide the annoyance in her raised voice,
"Everything's just perfect! Too perfect, plip!"
You had no idea what that meant.
"Uhh..."
Realizing she had let her anger flow and that she was yelling, Usalia placed a hand on her forehead and shook her head to calm down.
"... I'm sorry, plip." she apologized, offering a smile afterwards,
"Let's get you into bed, plip. You must be exhausted."
There was clearly something that was disturbing Usalia, though you couldn't really see what; you opened your mouth to speak, but stopped, remembering about her earlier words: you could deal with everything once you had gotten a decent amount of sleep, which you hadn't had in days.
So, with a small nod, you silently let yourself be carried to the bed.
As she began lowering you, the rabbit giantess said,
"I guess you don't want me to stay here while you sleep, plip,"
You were gently deposited onto a soft pillow, which could be a bed in itself for you and looked at Usalia, pensive; your first instinct was to decline, but then you remembered what happened the last time you were left alone, and that was less than an hour ago.
You certainly didn't want to wake up and find a certain purple-haired demon greeting you...
You shook your head, figuring that yours were only unwarranted fears.
You'd be fine... you hoped.
"I, um... no offense, but having someone watch me while I sleep is a bit... creepy." you stated.
Usalia's left ear twitched, leading you to wonder if you had used the right words; luckily, Toto Bunny's Overlord seemed hardly concerned about which words you used.
"It's quite alright, plip. I can understand that," she replied with a smile as she stood to her full height, turning as she started to take her leave,
"I'll be back later. I hope you have a nice rest, plip."
You barely had time to mutter a quick 'thanks' as Usalia left the room, gently closing the door behind herself, leaving you in complete silence.
Only then you finally allowed yourself to collapse, falling asleep within minutes.
As your consciousness drifted away, you could only think about one thing.
You had gotten more than you could hope for... or not?
--
After an indeterminate amount of time, you woke up to the feeling of something gently, yet insistently prodding your chest.
As you began to stir, the feeling left, and you swore you heard a low giggle nearby, confirming one thing: you weren't alone anymore.
Then it all came back to you.
"U-Usalia...?" you called out as you rubbed your eyes, attempting to get the drowsiness out of them; then, once you were fully able to open them, you immediately noticed that...
