Chapter #38

Bad Play In Chess

by: Lover Of All Giantesses Author IconMail Icon
And so the game was afoot, you versus Sage in the ultimate Chess match! You were playing the role of the king, and you had to push all your pieces around. While Sage just lifted them up with her fingers. She had her eyes searching over the entire board, while you had no idea what you were doing!

You knew you were going to lose, but it only got worse as you played. You kept falling for her moves, you kept trading your good pieces for her bad pieces and... you are just making mistake, after mistake!

The only good thing you have done is keep your Queen.

"I move my rook here, and it takes your Queen."

Scratch that. You were losing! The battlefield was now mostly her pieces as you saw a nasty looking Castle that was aiming to put you into check. "Why didn't you put me into check?" You ask curiously.

"Because I do not believe that I would get much distance from that, and I believe removing your Queen, the strongest and most powerful member of your army is more wise." Sage said.

You frown as you look at the pieces, and smirk. You move and drag a bishop across the board, going through the white and black pieces.

One thing that Sage has found during your turn... she found it really cute how you dragged the pieces. She had a small cute smile on her face as you were doing this.

"CHECK!" You shout proud of your move. You see nothing wrong with it a-

"My bishop takes your Bishop." She took the piece that you were dragging so effortlessly in her hand.

"Darn it." You grumble as she smiled.

"I see my path to victory." She assured.

"Well I'm lost... give me some time to think it over." So you inspected the board for a couple of minutes, just trying to find something you can do through all the pieces. You do get one idea, as you smile.

"Wait a second..." You think you have a way. You saw this on the Internet, if you drag your Castles to the side, you can trap the king at the back and then you can win. She's been so confident on the attack, that she left her king more or less revealed.

YES! Looking at the pieces, she can't stop you! Move your first one to the second layer for check, she has to retreat back and then you can force her with the second one. She can't win!

"Holy crap... I'm about to win!" You say so coincidentally as you look at Sage. "I'm about to beat you!"

"Are you?" She was curious if you saw something that she didn't in her millions of calculations.

"I did and I think we should make a bet." You smile. "The winner of this game, gets a favour from the loser. Anything they want, up for it Sage?"

She nodded as she looked closely. "I am curious... how you can win this game. Please show me your path to victory."

"Okay, bet made! Check this out! I push my castle all the way over here, and lock you into Check!" Pushing your Castle there you smirk at her. "Now you have to move your King, and wherever you move it my other castle can Checkmate it, I can't lose!"

You were so proud thinking you have beaten her... but instead.

"I take your Castle with my Queen." She said moving her giant piece over and getting rid of the castle that you were proud of. "With this Castle gone, I am no longer in check, and you are in Checkmate."

"W-What?" You shout.

"You are here," She said pointing to the spot where the king technically was. "You can't go here due to my Queen, you can't go here due to my Castle and my Pawn covers here. You have lost."

You walk over and inspect the area she was pointing out. "I... admittedly lost track of where I was on this board... maybe I shouldn't have played the king."

Sage giggled down at you, a cute giggle as she was very happy down at you. "You were moving all over the board, it would have been difficult for you to track yourself down. It's not a blight on your intelligence."

"Thanks Sage." You say smirking at her. "Well, guess I lost. I really thought I had you, and you have a favour to ask of me!"

When she heard this, you saw her smile as she was thinking it over.

"I... wish to keep it." She said honestly. "This favour... it's a connection between me and you. It makes me feel closer to you, and has value on our friendship. I do not wish to get rid of it... I wish to keep it with me forever."

Well, that's totally adorable. "Well how about this then Sage." You chuckle. "You can have two favours. One to keep, and one to use..."

She smiled at how kind that was of you, and you were smiling back at her. She was just so charming and cute.

"Then I will use the second one, and keep the first one as a sign of our relationship." Weird but she's going to use one anyway.

"So, what do you want to do with me, it can be literally anything? What good ideas do you have."

"Would you be okay... with anything that I pick?" She wanted to know the rules first.

"Well as long as it's not bad like dissecting me, I'm all on board Sage."

She smiled as she ran through thousands of ideas in certain seconds. What she can do with you, the possibilities felt endless? Eventually she got the idea. She raised her hands and the chess board disappeared as well as all the pieces that was around you.

"I have an idea." She remarked as you smirk. "I hope it will be... fun."

"I'm sure it will be, what's up?" You chuckle
