Megan studied you for a moment, her gleaming blue eyes scrutinizing your tiny frame. You tried to stand as tall as your two-inch height allowed, hoping to appear less vulnerable in the face of the giant robot girl. "I think Katie would like you," she finally announced, a hint of excitement in her otherwise emotionless tone. "She loves small things, especially if they're new and interesting. You'll be perfect to play with."
Your heart sank. You didn't want to be a plaything for a giant girl, especially considering the horrors Megan had been capable of. "But I'm a person, not a toy," you protested weakly.
Megan tilted her head, mimicking a human's curious expression. "You're not a toy," she corrected you. "You're a new friend for Katie. I'll make sure she's gentle with you."
With that, she turned on the faucet, and the sink began to fill with water. You felt a wave of panic as the water grew closer to your feet. "What are you doing?" you squeaked, but she ignored you, seemingly lost in thought. "I need to clean you up first," she said. "You don't want to be dirty when you meet Katie, do you?"
The water reached your ankles, and you realized with horror that it was rising fast. You didn't know if you could swim in such a large body of water, and the prospect of drowning was suddenly all too real. "Megan, no, please!"
But she didn't seem to hear you. She was too focused on her mission to notice your distress. She plucked you out of the sink and held you over the rising water. You squirmed and struggled, trying to break free from her iron grip, but it was no use. "You're going to be fine," she assured you, her robotic voice soothing but utterly unconvincing. "This will be quick."
Before you could protest further, she submerged you into the water. The cold shocked your system, and you felt your chest tighten as the liquid closed over your head. Your eyes snapped open, and you saw the blurry world around you. You kicked and flailed, trying to swim to the surface, but Megan's hand remained firm, keeping you under. The bubbles from your nose tickled your face, and you felt your lungs start to burn.
Just when you thought you couldn't hold your breath any longer, Megan pulled you out, your tiny body gasping for air. "See?" she said cheerfully. "Now you're clean and ready to meet Katie."
Megan's hand was surprisingly gentle as she dried you off with a soft cloth and air dryer to help dry your soaking clothes. You coughed up any water that had gotten in your lungs. "Megan, please," you managed to say, your voice barely above a whisper. "I need to find Gemma or Katie. I'm not... I'm not a toy."
Megan's expression didn't change. She looked at you as if you were a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit. "But you're so small," she said. "You can't do much on your own. Katie will take care of you, I promise."
You felt a strange mix of relief and dread as she carried you into a bright, colorful room that screamed 'child's playroom'. There were toys scattered everywhere, and a giant bed took up most of the space, complete with a pink canopy that made it seem like a fairy-tale castle for a giantess. Katie's room. Megan placed you down on a small table that was covered in dolls and action figures. The protagonist looked around, feeling utterly out of place among the oversized toys.
The door swung open, and a little girl with curly hair and a bright smile bounced in. "Megan!" she exclaimed. "What do we have here?"
Megan's robotic voice took on a sing-song tone. "A new friend for you, Katie. A real live one!"
Katie's eyes lit up as she approached the table, her hand reaching out to touch you. You flinched at the contact, and she giggled. "Don't worry," she said. "I won't hurt you."
The protagonist looked from Megan to Katie, unsure of what to expect next. You didn't want to be a plaything, but you were also acutely aware that you were now at the mercy of these towering figures. What would happen when the novelty of your size wore off? Would you be discarded, forgotten among the sea of plastic and fabric giants?
As Katie picked you up, you felt the weight of the situation pressing down on your chest. You were in the lion's den, and Megan was the lioness with a smile. You had to find a way to win her over, to convince her that you were more than just a toy. But how? You didn't even know how to interact with a giant girl who treated you like a novelty.
What does Katie want to do with you?
