* Chris Manzana - He is Filipino-American. He is four and a half years old, a smidge taller than the usual boy his age. He has lightly tanned skin, short black hair, and black eyes. He is a bit tall for his age. He is very friendly and outgoing. He however has a fear of toilets flushing and using bathrooms outside his home environment if anyone but his mom is with him. He does know how to use the potty. However, he prefers to use his diapers or a makeshift potty. His birthday is a week from the start of the story. He loves video games and reading, his favorite animals are wolves and horses. Chris does not want to be potty trained. He speaks primarily English.
* Carter Blackwood, age 4 & 1/2. He's a fairly athletic tall-ish boy, with lightly tanned skin, short chocolate brown hair, and stormy grey eyes. His mom has tried to potty-train him since he turned two, but due to his stubborn nature, every method she tried has ended in failure, from bribing him with candy, to letting him choose his own potty, to potty-training books and videos. Due to his age, he has outgrown the standard diapers that younger toddlers wear, and as a result, he has to wear larger ones held up by four tapes instead of two. These are more expensive and harder to find due to being in low demand.
