Okay what are some other possibilities that caused Max to become a dragon? Let's brainstorm. It wasn't some alteration of reality itself that makes everyone think Max has always been Dragon. It wasn't the crystal having some new alterations that are added to it to make Max and Emmy dragons while visiting Dragon Land. It wasn't Max drinking a potion he shouldn't have, and it wasn't part of an adoption process.
