Okay, so Max didn't make a wish on a star that resulted in his dragon transformation. Nor was it his sister Emmy, or Sophie or Priscilla that made the wish. So, let's try some other characters we can choose from. There are so many, and there can be many reason any of dragons would make a wish that leads to Max becoming a Dragon.

Maybe let's try the parents of the friends of Max and Emmy.
