Chapter #16A Gift for the Beautiful Rabbit by: Karl0s   Tails fell silent as he saw Vanilla’s gaze change to the more enchanted one.
“P-Please, continue.” she suddenly said, as she kept staring at him with the same look.
“Every girl deserves a gift for this special day. You too, Miss Vanilla. I know, I’m not even a teenager yet, I’m only 12. But when I see a beautiful woman, I see a beautiful woman.”
Vanilla’s eyes sparkled as she kept listening.
“And I don’t mean just your appearance. You are beautiful both outside and inside.” Tails said with a sheepish smile. “So here is a Valentine's day gift for you, Miss Vanilla.”
After saying that, Tails handed her a cardboard heart.
Vanilla quietly took the gift without saying anything.
Tails started feeling awkward. Did she not like the gift? Or maybe he embarrassed her by giving this? He looked down shyly.
“W-Well, but if you don’t like it, it’s okay. I can take it ba-”
“No!” Vanilla said loudly.
Tails looked up to see her smiling happily.
Vanilla looked at the cardboard heart and then back at him.
“I love it, Tails! I love it!” she said as she then picked Tails up and kissed him on each cheek.
“Y-Y-You’re welcome!” Tails said, blushing from the kisses.
Vanilla then pulled Tails into a hug, unconsciously pressing his head to her chest. He could feel her boobs pressing against his cheeks, which made him blush even more.
“M-M-Miss Vanilla...I...”
Tails felt like a kettle that was about to boil. He couldn’t help but feel that way on such a close contact with Vanilla.
The angel boy, seeing that the love arrow hit the target, smiled victoriously.
“Yay! Another success! Now let’s see who’s the lucky man!” he said as he flew closer. “Wait, wha?!”
His eyes widened in shock as he saw Vanilla hugging the boy who was 20 years younger than her.
He blushed from awkwardness. “Uhh...Well...love knows no age, I guess. But I hope higher angels didn’t see that.”
After saying that, he quickly turned away and flew to look for some other couples on the beach, whistling to himself.
As Vanilla kissed the top of Tails’ head, still holding the hug, the only thing Tails could think of was how soon Vanilla would release him.
Luckily, she did it very soon.
“Aww, you are so cute, Tails! I’ll keep your gift until the end of my life!” Vanilla said with a wide smile as she stroked Tails’ head. “How about you come to my house after we’re done hanging out here? I’ll cook my best cupcakes just for you.”
Tails gulped nervously, still feeling awkward after that close contact.
“N-N-No, it’s fine, I-”
“Aaaawww, come oooooon~!” Vanilla said softly as she hugged Tails again, this time not picking him up. His head this time was pressed against her soft belly.
Tails tried to pull away, but Vanilla held him tighter and looked down at him.
“I’m not letting go until you say ‘yes’~.”
Tails felt the glances from some other mobians on the beach. Some of them were giggling, some of them were jealous. This all made him feel even more awkward.
“Okay, okay! Yes, I’ll…I’ll come with you!” Tails said with his eyes closed and a shy expression on his face.
“Good boy.” Vanilla said softly, releasing him from the hug.
After that, Tails quickly ran away, blushing from embarrassment.
“Aww, he’s so cute~!” Vanilla thought lovingly, looking at the gift, and placed the left hand on her heart. “So charming~.”

“Hey girls! I’m here! Sorry I came a little late.” came the familiar voice.
Sally, Bunnie, Cream and Vanilla turned to see Amy Rose standing in a red bikini, holding a beach ball in her hands.
“Heya Sugar!” Bunnie said, smiling.
“Hi Amy!” Sally said, standing up.
“Miss Amy! Hi!” Cream said cheerfully as she ran up to her and hugged her.
“I’m glad to see you too, Cream.” Amy said with a smile, placing the beach ball on the sand and returning the hug.
“So, what took ya so long?” Bunnie wondered.
“Well, I was trying to find Sonic here.” Amy said, which caused all the other girls to roll their eyes and giggle.
“I see you brought a beach ball.” Blaze stated. “That’s good. We were just planning to play volleyball.”
“That’s great! Let’s play then!” Amy said with enthusiasm.
“Of course. But not right now. We only need to wait for our judge to come.” Sally said.
“Judge? We will have a judge? But who?” Amy asked.
“You’ll see, Amy. But trust me...he’s wonderful~!” Blaze said as her eyes sparkled at the thought of a little two-tailed fox boy.

Tails was sitting near the bar counter and having a glass of juice.
Suddenly he felt a huge wave of wind from his right side, and then a voice: “Hey, buddy!” came from behind.
“Hey Sonic.” Tails said with a smile. “And I already thought you’d never come.”
“Oh, come on! We got a chance to spend this month here, in the southern part of Mobius. Do you think I’d miss a chance to relax on the beach?” Sonic said with a smirk, and then frowned for a bit. “No swimming though.”
Tails giggled. “I understand. Don’t worry, it’s going to be fun. The girls are planning to play volleyball, and I’m gonna be the judge.”
Sonic’s eyes widened a bit as he smiled. “Wow, Tails! You’re a lucky boy!”
“I guess so.” Tails shrugged. “Are you gonna watch?”
“Okay, why not?” Sonic said as he wrapped his arm around Tails’ shoulder. “After all, I wouldn’t want to leave you alone with only girls around. Who knows what they’re gonna do with an adorable boy like you. Maybe they’re gonna kiss you to the death.”
“Sonic!” Tails pouted, blushing from embarrassment as Sonic laughed.
“Just kidding, buddy. But in any case, don’t worry, I’ll be around.” Sonic said with an encouraging wink.

Flying along the beach, the angel boy noticed a couple more mobians lying on towels and relaxing. They were Jet the Hawk and Wave the Swallow.
“Hmm, I think these two are made for each other. Let’s do this thing!” he said as he took out his love arrow and took aim.
However, right at the moment when the love arrow hit Jet, he looked at the other side.
“Oops.” the angel boy said awkwardly. He then noticed that the green hawk was now looking at one of the girls from the group that was intending to play volleyball. “Oh well, I guess I’m just gonna have to go along with it. So, let’s see who’s the girl he fell for and get her to fall for him too.”
