The scientists checked the website, and saw that Body Grower XXXXXXL came up with a ray gun that would make people fatter. The ray gun was quite expensive, and was battery-powered, requiring several 9 volt batteries in order to work. It was roughly pistol-sized, but instead of a barrel, there was a futuristic-looking coil at the end. While it could be used for anything, it was intended to people to have a quicker, more effortless way to try being fat, or to get others to try. There was a commercial, showing a fat-curious guy shooting himself with the ray before loving the results. There was also a fat guy covertly shooting his skinny friend, who, after discovering that he was fat, ended up enjoying it. They even had a really fat guy who had to be at least half a ton who was being shot by a smaller guy, presumably his boyfriend.
The scientists were excited by this new product, and figured it was worth trying on the three massive celebrity blobs. It could be good for a little extra boost, but who knows how the ray gun would interact with the viruses that had thoroughly infected the three, especially Zac with his quintuple dose.
