With his frustration starting to mount, Midas lunged at Cheshire who simply side-flew but he was not aiming at her. Instead, he slammed into the walls and spread gold to them. "Heh heh heh." Cheshire just flicked her finger, sending him flying into his Guard who narrowly missed out in grabbing Cozy. "You good?" Cozy for her part looked flustered, tired and stressed but otherwise fine. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just watch it." Cheshire smiled before having to spin to dodge a golden laser. "You're starting to annoy me." Cheshire giggled. "That's my job!" Midas huffed but then grinned as the gold seeped over the celling. "Heads up!" Cheshire rolled her eyes and dodged the dripping paint but doing so gave Midas his opening. He launched forward, using his magic to make himself faster...
And absolutely nothing happened as he planted his hooves on Cheshire's chest. "What?!" Cheshire smiled as she simply brushed him off. "Told ya. I ain't joining ya!" Midas was downright stumped. "That... That isn't possible! NOT EVEN DRAGONS have resisted me!" Cheshire giggled. "Newsflash, Goldy; I ain't some ordinary being. I'm not even from here!" Midas' eyes widened. "I knew it..." He slowly sat down and smiled. "I KNEW IT!!! Interesting..." He looked at Cheshire with newfound respect and curiosity. "You're most curious-" "Cheshire." Midas nodded, still getting over his culture shock of sorts.
