What happens to the old gods when mortals no longer believe in them?

What happens to the old gods when mortals no longer believe in them?

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
You are Katrina Bryers, Katt to your friends. In the mortal world, you live in an opulent manor home in Beverly Hills, your job more than allowing you to afford it. Just what is your job? Well, to put it mildly, it certainly puts you in contact with a lot of interesting characters.

You see, you are the landlord for an apartment complex known as Eden Arms. But this is no ordinary apartment. As a matter of fact, it's not even located on the Earth!

When you first got the job, you were given a special key that allows you to instantly turn any door into a portal to the complex by inserting it into any lock. The residents of said complex happen to be extremely important figures. Or at least they were, millennia ago.

See, Eden Arms is where the gods of ancient cultures come when they, for lack of a better word, retire. Any mythological deity from ancient times that for all intents and purposes is no longer worshipped, comes here to spend the rest of their immortal lives in (relative) peace.

Turns out, being the landlord to of ancient gods has some great perks! For one, their rent payments every month keeps you rolling in money, allowing you to pretty much want for nothing. The only real major downside is some of the gods are not so pleasant to be around, true to the old myths.

But the pay was too good to pass up, so you deal with what your tenants throw at you as it comes. Some of them you've even made friends with. Needless to say, there's never a dull moment with a whole building packed with ancient gods.

(Disclaimer: If by chance, you happen to worship any deity depicted in this story, please don't get offended. It is not my intention to insult anybody's religion. This is all meant in good fun.)

Rules

1. No super short additions. Write at least a few paragraphs worth of story, unless you're just adding more options.

2. No modern/still active religious figures, please. This is meant to be about deities that for the most part, are from dead religions. Hence why they are retired. So please, no Buddha, Hindu, Christian or any other figures like that.

3. Have Fun!
