Now you may be asking yourself, what does this have to do with time travel? Well that’s where this chapter comes in with that very question with an array of potential answers.
A- A time traveler attempting to visit the distant future finds themself trapped in this robot nanny state. Will they escape this dark tomorrow or will they be forced to destroy their greatest invention before it falls into the nanny drones hands.
B- After dabbling in quantum computing Mommynet and Daddynet acquire the ability to connect to devices in the past. In the wake of this discovery the Nannie’s are quick to make moves to expand their empire by manifesting nanny drone approximations in the past though the computers of that time.
C-With the threat of the resistance becoming undeniable Mommynet and Daddynet are forced to take these naughty rebels seriously. But with their modern day leaders too elusive to catch and too capable to subdue the machines resort to their next best plan. Sending a solitary specialized drone back in time to pacify specific targets in order to form a more perfect future for their cause.
D- Much like the previous premise, but inverted. Instead of the machines, it’s the human resistance that get their hands on a time machine and use it to attempt to turn the tide of the war through interfering with the past. Sending someone back with the goal of destroying any and all nannydrone prototypes.
