Tale One: Our hero is trapped. Stuck in what hypothetical experts may call a diaper pin time loop. Named because like the pin of a diaper their timeline has been twisted into a loop, but not before finding themself stuck in a diaper. Dodge the psychotic babysitter from the last loop only to trip and fall into a magic mirror on the next, successfully sidestep that and you accidentally expose yourself to magic baby powder the loop after. The only thing keeping them going is the stubborn hope that if they can make it the whole day without falling into any of these “baby traps” they get to go on with their life. But every day brings a new challenge more bizarre than the last, so they best stay prepared.
Tale Two: Connie never understood fads. Best she can tell all the latest ones seem to center around childhood nostalgia. But instead of coming and going, these trends seem to be ramping up. Almost as if they growing, mutating and dare she say… changing the world around them in some bizarre ways. Even Connie herself finds herself participating in despite never consciously deciding to join in. As things get stranger and stranger Connie comes to a rather insane realization, insane as it may sound, only one thing makes sense. These are no fads at all, but manifestations of her and everyone around her are experiencing their own time, their past and presents folding in on itself, like a snake consuming its own tail, rending their lives apart as their past eats their present until they become adults who are babies at the same time
Tale Thee: Via detests waiting. Not for any lost or wasted time, no. She just hates the sense of not doing anything for any reason. And that’s why it was such a godsend when she was gifted a mysterious ornate bobble. A little button that would send her forward in time whenever pressed so she’d never have to experience waiting ever again. When you step into the back of a line just press the button and now you’re at the head of the queue ready for your turn. Press the button in the middle of a boring shift at work and it’s time to clock out. Press the button mid-bedtime routine and the next thing you know you’re waking up in her bed the next morning. But before long strange things start to befall Via during her lost time. It begins with the odd accident here or there. But whatever, it’s nothing a little protection can’t handle. Then she starts finding herself in stranger and stranger circumstances like her skipped self is wandering off course and putting realtime Via in embarrassingly infantile situations to intentionally humiliate her.
Tale Four: Our protagonist is an awful student. But that’s likely to change once they comes across a mysterious history textbook. Despite its size its pages contain the whole of records history. And if they so choose they may edit the contents of this book, changing the worlds real life history as a result! But I’m sure our protagonist can use such a power responsibly.
