A tall knight, clad in thick, silver armor forged to withstand the cruel northern winters, walked steadily through the cold stone corridors of Castle Eisvindor. The icy wind howled through the cracks in the towers, but he barely noticed. His path was clear: he was on his way to speak with the general, who had just emerged from a tense meeting with the king.
When he saw him, he gave a slight nod in greeting.
"General, I’ve been thinking... I’d like to be reassigned to something different," he said, his tone calm but firm.
He never got an answer.
A thunderous crash shook the castle walls. Screams followed.
A monster —or something even worse— had broken into the castle.
The general didn’t hesitate. Drawing his sword, he charged toward the source of the chaos. The knight followed closely, but his path led him down a corridor the general hadn’t seen.
And that’s when he noticed it.
There, among the shadows and rubble, a twisted, towering creature loomed over a helpless figure. Without thinking, the knight dashed forward, weapon raised with the force of a thousand winters. But just as he was about to strike—
A green light, brilliant and unnatural, consumed everything.
The creature, the knight, and the cornered person were all swallowed in its glow.
