Judas' confused expression slowly morphed into a grin that made you shudder. “Well well well, looks like it’s my lucky day.” Judas taunted. “I’ve been wanting to put you in your place for a while now, and I guess the man upstairs was listening. How’s it feel to be shrunken down to size? I think it suits you.”
You lay before your eldest son, prone and completely in shock of his callous attitude. He had grown cold in his teen years, sure, and some of his arguments had become quite sharp recently, but you always figured that was just teenage hormones. You never could have guessed your son would have such a rotten heart. In fact, you refused to believe it.
“Judas, stop that.” You call up, not even sure your tiny voice can reach his ears. “This is serious. I need you to go get Steven, right now.”
Judas looks at you, leaning over to loom over you with a casually cruel air about him, his hands resting in the pockets of his jeans. “...nah.” Judas decides. There’s movement to your left, and suddenly what looks to be a solid wall comes hovering over you as Judas simply twisted his ankle so that the bottom of his boot is all you see. You panic, quickly trying to scramble out of the way, but Judas is faster as he gently lowers his foot, pining you with an effort so small it was basically just reflex. If Judas simply shifted his weight, you would be crushed beneath your son in an instant. Hell, Judas could stumble or be pushed by someone else and kill you by mistake in this situation. The thought of all the danger Judas was willing to subject you to sent a bolt of terror up your spine. Even worse, if you could see past his boot you would see that Judas’ smirk had only grown as he clearly took pleasure in terrifying your tiny form.
