Who tries to reason with a 1 year old?? You love Ricky, but at this size he’s just not safe, and so you trust your instincts and take off sprinting.

Ricky stands up on his two chubby toddler legs, waddling after you. He’s cackling with glee, eager to give chase to the ‘thing’ he’s just found. His baby feet make the ground tremble, and you pant with exertion, scared that he’s already caught up to you.
