It was a Skarmory!
And a huge one at that!
The huge steel type bird landed at the edge of the den, its big sharp claws easily stabbing through the tin fabric of the nest and sending shivers throughout Roy's spine. Roy looked horrified at the big, dangerous bird. It was way bigger than any usual Skarmory, and Roy was literally in her den, curled up next to her eggs. He was sure, he would get attacked once she saw him.
But, the Skarmory was more preoccupied with looking in the distance rather than her own eggs, and didn't spot the intruder right between her big eggs. Roy waited, her beating extremely fast, scared of what she would do once she saw him. He remained unmoving, not knowing what to do besides that.
To his luck, the big Skarmory never looked at her eggs. To his unluck, the big Skarmory never looked at her eggs.
Roy saw the Skarmory take a few small steps forward, then turn around, facing her metal feathered butt at the eggs and Roy's curled body. With not even a look at her eggs, the Skarmory sat down on them and hid them from the storm before it began. Wiggled a little to find a comfy spot and to make sure all the eggs were covered then waited for the storm to pass. Seemingly unaware that one of the eggs wasn't an egg.
Roy couldn't believe what happened, he was literally curled up together, with four big eggs on each side of his body, and their owner's butt pressing right above him, treating him also as an egg. It was a very weird situation, but probably one of the best, for Roy. Instead of getting pecked to death by the big Skarmory, he was now under her and kept warm by her butt and heavy feathers. Very heavy, doubt he could push her off, and very warm, to the point he was feeling like he was in a sauna, a weird-smelling sauna, and under a bench full of sweat. The smell also wasn't particularly good but manageable.
Roy wasn't sure what to do. It felt nice and cozy under the big Skarmory, plus he was safe from the storm. Double plus, he can't get out without notifying the strong Skarmory.
