This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!

This is the story of Hope Downey, a teenage girl who starts growing feathers, until she's covered head to toe in them.

Of course, you've gotta have rules:

1) No killing off the main character.
2) 1st person, past tense.
3) Try for the correct spelling and punctuation.
4) No one-sentence chapters. If you're not advancing the story, don't bother.
5) Hope is human, and will stay that way, even if she looks differently than the average girl. She will not grow wings, grow a beak, fly, or lay eggs.
6) Keep it PG-13. Nudity is okay. Strong language is okay, but don't overdo it. Sex is okay, if age appropriate, but don't go into detail.
7) No incest or sexual assault. You will be blocked.
