The Disclaimer If my modest opinion's No good to be used, Just toss it out. Feel free to be You. ![]() ![]() Hi Di-imost thankful! I just came across your poem while surfing WDC (instead of doing my homework). ![]() This may be the most inspiring poem I've read to date. ![]() Your theme, of course sticks out most. Age in our culture is often dreaded, yet this takes such a positive spin. I also enjoyed your word choice. My favorite line is "With tea and cats and purple" What a joyful image. In a more serious tone I loved the entire third stanza, "Solid in myself..." Finding peace within myself that this verse describes is my own personal goal. I'm not there yet, but... ![]() No grammar errors jumped out a me. I love the flow. It seemed to give freedom to your "joyfully me" themed poem. One thing I'll throw out there though, I'd love to see this poem colored in big, bold purple text ![]() ![]() What an inspiring poem on growing happy and wise. I hope one day I'll be able to write a similar poem about my own life. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to learn and grow by opening up a part of yourself. I'd also like to lay out the welcome mat to my portfolio.
