The description of "Earth's Poem" Open in new Window. hooked me. The first stanza establishes the rhythm, rhyme scheme, and mood of the poem. The rhythm and rhyme scheme compliment each other while moving the poems emotions forward. The main emotions of this poem are joy and sadness.

What I liked: The stanza is my favorite because it emphasizes the lesson of the poem while giving a warning to humanity.
