Nice and engaging story of a little girl, Samantha. Her love for her grandma is fascinating. But then, most girls would cherish grannies, love them to the envy of their parents.
The author's detailed description of the girl's absorption with her grandmother's boxes is endearing and engaging. I became as curious as Samantha.
A mother's love-
That is what Art had found out when his daughter brings something from his mother's belongings, which he thought he lost. His pleasures shows how much attached he was and still is to his mom.
Nance, for her part, treated the little "ring" her son brought to her as a kind of treasure. It is so appealing that Samantha should decide to wear it on her wedding day. So much for her love for her granny.
Narrative style appeals to me.
Dialog has a special attraction to it with little actions inserted in between.
