Why I chose this to review: LOL...lots of reasons! For the Challenge, for Kind Hearts, for Mad Dash...you name it. But the main reason is because I enjoy reading your work, be it blog, poetry or just a random thought that you choose to write.

How I feel about this work: You are not one for "mushiness", however this is indeed a very sweet poem about your husband. Silent strength and "just being there" for you. How appropriate not only for Valentine's Day, but because he is part of you.

I'm wondering about: I was just curious what made you write this particular piece. Where you in a rare mushy mood, or just happened to be strengthened by his presence at the moment? Inquiring (aka nosy) minds want to know...

Suggestions: You write with simplicity, yet your words pack a punch. I saw no typos or grammar issues with your writing, as usual.

Overall, a singularly sweet poem. It doesn't have the tone of "mushiness" to it, but is a fitting tribute to your life's partner. As always, a pleasure to read your words. I hope to be able to be able to voice my heart as well as you voice yours. I'll be back, for sure! You can count on that. .
