| Plot/story elements: Did I feel attached to the story or poem? It's a great piece about nature's whimsical fury. I wonder if you live in California? The hillside line made me think. I am always amazed at nature's awe striking ability to destroy what we work so hard to build. It makes me contemplate on the smallness of man. Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else? Absolutely, the imagery in here is amazing. Each line paints a picture like a National Geographic magazine shot. Was there a clear purpose to it? I thought about the last line. It made me think that the earth is shows its pain and suffering when it goes through these cycles. But, I almost think of it as new beginnings. The environmentalist in me (which is not a strong indicator currently of who I am but a picture of who I once was and maybe will be again) thinks if Earth was a person, we'd be parasites to it. I don't think it would like us too much. It's very vivid and creates a beautifully devastating picture. It makes me sad and mourn for people affected by these tragedies. I'd think about changing the last line but that might be my purpose, not your intended one. It was beautiful and made me think of my former self. Thank you for sharing it. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ~Tsa~ House of Greyjoy
