Hello Kat,

I enjoyed reading your story.
I am no expert and what's following is my humble review which you may choose to ignore.

Why I chose this item:
Well it was a random selection and I needed to review a story in mythology genre.

My favorites parts:
I liked the story overall specially the last part. I liked Phil's reactions for Dr. Loke's every surprising acts. It was amusing.

Characters:
Phil: He appeared to be a confused character who had lost his aim in life. He was uncertain about what he wanted to do.
Loke: She seemed a free spirit with clear vision in front of her. Her best quality is her frankness.

StoryLine/Plot :
Your story had two parts. One, where you have informed the reader why Phil was how he was. The things that had affected his believes and faith. Why he does what he does and why he is the way he is.
Two, the second part is where you have actually told us the story. Though the first part was descriptive it was not boring. It was fun to read and putting Phil's thoughts and reactions in it made it more entertaining.

Action/Flow :
The story flowed smoothly and blended well. The flashback of the first section helped in understanding the second.

Ending:
The ending is the highlight of the whole piece. It's not only entertaining but refreshing too. It seems Phil not only got an aim in life but a new friend too. Now what fun Loke would find for him is hard to tell.
