:) what a lovely vivid funny poem! Actually, it is the first really funny poem I ever read!
It is the revelation of good thoughts, which all of us need. There is a sense of the day-to-day reality between the verses, which makes the reader to get familiar and comfortable. The actors of your poem, the 'nagging wife' "your girl friend,' 'the witch,' 'the friends croaking'are hilarious and the humor increases because they seem to be real.
I also admire your mastery when playing with words, you made the verses crystal-clear and vivid. I can almost see your bright smile at the end of your poem, when you say "it's time to chant some lucky verses." Definitely, today I became your fan!
