Hello there, Sugar Cube!
I've read one of your pieces before (Santa's Bell from A Box of Weeds Open in new Window.), and this one is just as dark as twisted as that one!
I love it!
You did a great job of easing the reader into who was narrating this, although it doesn't take long for us to figure out it's a robot of some kind, or to be more specific, Alexa! *Laugh* And to personify her the way you did was purrfect! (Get it? Purrfect? *Rolling*)
Talk about one demented cat person! A shoulder wrap? I'm guessing that's a purse, right? And a necklace? *Shock2*
I'm not a big cat person, but even I wouldn't go that far!
