Hi, Kathryn.
I like this. It's been said that music soothes the savage beast, and I truly believe that. There's even been scientific studies done on how music can affect animals too, and not just people!
It's also true what you said about how it can affect our emotions. Music can make us dance for joy or cry tears of sorrow. It can bring back memories in an instant that we hadn't thought of for years. Years ago NASA even sent a space probe to the far reaches of the galaxy and the universe with some of our songs in hopes that some other intelligent life might see what our civilization listens to! So that one line, 'Music is the blood of the universe' is more prophetic than you might know!
