Seasons greetings, Jennifer!
This started out as a sad piece, but it didn't quite end that way. Still, the idea of a son putting his father into a nursing home against his wishes isn't very comforting, but at least the old man recognizes it for what it is and knows that it wouldn't be too bad to have a companion he could sneak out at night with! *Bigsmile* I think that would bring the 'kid' out in him again, don't you?
