Greetings, XXII!
This isn't bad for one of your first pieces on here. You're obviously writing from the heart, and a lot of people tend to write their feelings down like this, especially newbies. It's cathartic, and even some old-timers like myself still do it on occasion.
I'll say this about this piece. When you really think about it, we're all just blank slates when we're born. Call it innocence or ignorance, but we become what our environment is around us and how much people influence us. Think about it: who would you be if you were born, raised, and currently living in China? Or Australia? Or Scotland? I'm willing to bet you most likely wouldn't be anything like who are you now! Do you think you'd still be interested in kickboxing or music or cooking?
Anyway, I'm glad you're getting your emotions out, and loving yourself is the most important thing of all. And no more harping about the past, cuz that's something you can't change. It's the future you need to focus on!
