Storyline: Sofia unlocks the mysteries of the Circus, of magic and wonders she couldn't imagine, yet finds a sense of purpose and belonging that she has longed for. She thought she would be behind the scenes, taking care of all of the horses, but an accident changes the course of the new job, and the spotlight shines upon her.

Spelling/Grammar Issues: No issues

Description/emotion: The connection between Sofia, the reader, and Midnight Fury was excellent. Her excitement and nervousness came through. I took that ride with her, exhilarated, scared, and hopeful all the way to the end of the story. The bond between horse and rider became spiritual, filled with trust and admiration. Victor's accident, jealousy, warnings, and chanting were palpable.

Overall Impression: I wondered if this would turn into a tragic ending, but no. You delivered a solid story that pulled the reader in from the beginning and held them all the way to the end. If you believe in the spiritual world, in the unexplainable, that sometimes things happen for unknown reasons, reasons a person might not comprehend, this short story puts it together for you. Any nonbelievers would be giving life a second thought because you brought these worlds together well.
