An interesting short story. You have someone, who has had a rough life, where a number of their friends abandoned them in high school. Now, they are talking to a therapist, trying to figure things out. They have a big question - why don't people want to be lonely? Makes one wonder about a lot of things, and hopes that they will be happy.
