*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary ReviewsOpen in new Window.*CakeP*

Hello, Jaya, aka vindhya!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* I enjoyed reading your "Endless Joy" poem every time I read it, including today.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary day and month! I read this "Endless Joy" poem of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "April" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting and encouraging. It is meant to be honest and respectful, in accordance with WDC guidelines.

*Bulleto* Your title is something I think we all want - "Endless Joy" - and something that sounds wonderful to me especially.

*Bulleto* I loved your poem so much. It was full of gratitude for writing and poetry, described the joys of poetry especially, and I found it beautiful and inspiring to read.

*Bulleto* I thought the free verse form / style worked well with the message of your "Endless Joy" poem and I totally agree that poetry is a blessing.

*Bulleto* My favorite stanza was the third one (not counting the title). It just felt especially lovely.

*Bulleto* I thought you did a great job with this "Endless Joy" poem for entering the DWG: POET, KNOW IT, SHOW IT CONTEST. I don't remember the rules specifically, but I feel confident that thi spoem was within the line count requirements and that the host would have enjoyed it.

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your "Endless Joy" poem.

*Bulleto* I appreciated that you included information on the contest that you wrote this lovely poem for.

*Bulleto* I thought the emotional, experience, and contest entry genres you selected for this poem were appropriate matches for it.

*Bulleto* I liked that you included your form and line count along with the contest information below your poem.

*Bulleto* I thought it was neat that you wrote a poem about the joys of poetry. *Smile*

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:

In the spirit of helpfulness, and because of the requirements of a new reviewing challenge I joined recently, I have some little suggestions to make your piece stronger. If you're interested in some constructive criticism, read on. But if you aren't, no worries. Just know that I enjoyed your piece and move on to the next section.

Still reading? You're brave! Yay for you! *Clap*

*Bulletb* It might help you get more future readers if you added a thumbnail picture to your story, if your membership level allows that. Pictures are attention getting and could help your story stand out in a list of search results. I think a picture of a poetry reading would be especially nice.

*Bulletb* This is totally unrelated to your poem, but because your poem was lovely, I encourage you to write a poem for the Honoring Our Veterans Challenge. There are now annual rewards that get better and better with more entries throughout the year. There's still time to get an entry in for this month, the first month of the challenge too. Here's the link: "Honoring Our Veterans - ChallengeOpen in new Window.

*Bulletb* If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to enter this poem in the Shadows and Light Poetry Contest run by Rachel, aka choconut, username purplesunday. It only takes free verse poetry and I think your line count is within the limits. I think the host would really enjoy reading this poem of yours. It encourages the hosts of contests to have more entries and I think she still needs more to award all prizes.

As with any review, please take what serves you and release or ignore what doesn't.

CONCLUSION:

*Bulletv* I enjoyed reading your "Endless Joy" poem, and empathized with your sentiments that you expressed in it. It made me smile. *Smile* Thank you for the smile.

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, experiences, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance, during your anniversary month, and always!

PWheeler
