This is a heartfelt tribute to your mother. Deep emotion, love, gratitude and respect in a sincere voice makes this piece a winner.

On the other hand, I didn't immediately catch on to the "GOAT", but it is my bad! Luckily for me, I soon realized what you were saying was "the greatest of all time."

Yet, you speak from the heart. The fun-loving sincerity in your address of her shows that, as most of the piece is deeply moving, especially this: "without the love she poured into me, I would not have made it after she left."

As such, I noticed a clear emotional arc here, from loss to appreciation, then to dedication. The best part is that your words flow naturally and the piece ends on a note of strength and lasting love.

What I was impressed with is your effective use of repetition and phrases like, ""What a woman. What a mother. What a gift."

I also noticed that you opened the piece with a spiritual statement, in ""God called her. She answered." This first impression also adds an undertone to the entire piece.

Your piece dedicated to your mother is a tribute that honors your mother and it feels like it came from the very depths of your soul. For that reason, among others, I enjoyed reading it very much.
