Hello, I'm one of the official judges for the following:

*Note1* My review is meant to be honest, encouraging, and respectful in accordance with WDC guidelines.

ABOUT THIS STORY:
A Christian couple travel to the planet of Ultima hoping to bring Christianity to an AI planet.

WHAT I LIKED:
I liked the creativity and imagination used in the story. There is a dystopian vibe to the story with a touch of AI.

INSPIRATION:
The inspiration for this story is a song by Steve Earle called "Revolution Starts Now." The song was written in the early 2000's as he had political concerns over the Bush administration's direction it was taking the country. The song is a call to action emphasizing that democracy requires constant vigilance, active participation, and individual empowerment. Democracy starts at the local level and grows upward. That said, I'm looking for similar elements in the story.

MY THOUGHTS
Carrie and her husband travel to Ultima, hoping to evangelize. The planet, however, is AI dominated so that's a challenge. All change starts at the local level and that's where Carrie and her husband start. I saw themes of local action growing upward, active participation, and individual empowerment.

I like the concept of bringing God to an AI planet. I also liked how the message was presented with a touch of hope. An intriguing story.

Good luck in the contest.
