ABOUT THIS STORY:
The news item is a look at Greta Thunberg and her climate activism.

WHAT I LIKED:
I liked the use of the video to capture Greta's authenticity and sincerity.


INSPIRATION:
The inspiration for this story is a song by Steve Earle called "Revolution Starts Now." The song was written in the early 2000's as he had political concerns over the Bush administration's direction it was taking the country. The song is a call to action emphasizing that democracy requires constant vigilance, active participation, and individual empowerment. Democracy starts at the local level and grows upward. That said, I'm looking for similar elements in the story.

I thought this news item did a nice job showing Greta's passion for her beliefs. Greta's message is a global one. It highlights active participation and individual empowerment.
