| A Friend A fond WdC memory |
| Amethyst Angel, I can see why our friend Jack of Diamond chose your piece, 'A Friend' (#2326844), as one of the great pieces on Writing.com. What a relaxed way to talk about and remember a friend who wrote his way into your life, moved out again, but left you with such a jewel as an unpublished novel that spoke to you. It is excellent when one can offer positive suggestions, but not so great when they are candid and offer those that are negative but true, and, in fact, slightly crushes your bubble. LOL, however, those are the ones that help you to improve, and to knuckle down and do a better job. I love the cador, and especially when it is not mean-spirited. Great job on "A Friend." Thank you for sharing it. Why I read it: Jack of Diamonds gave it an Awardicon for the month of July. He gave me an Awardicon for the month of August, and I wanted to experience his writing style. What I liked about "A Friend": The story it told about the friendship, the clear lines of why, how, what, and when. Recommendations: None Thank you for sharing, and WRITE ON, write on!
