Wow. This is a really excellent insight and a good poem to boot!

The lines:

but tomorrow is a country
i can never seem to reach,
and healing is a language
i was never taught to speak.


cut deep. And sad. And they make one want to reach out if only to not say a word, but just offer a quiet hug.
