Thank you for you entry to "The One-Line Lyric Challenge *on hiatus*" !

This is a nice take on the prompt song and definitely captures the feeling and theme of the music. I appreciate that you spelled out the themes you intended to explore underneath the story. The story itself is a great start, a journey back to the past in order to get closure and move on towards a new future. Because it's so short, it feels a bit like an overview or synopsis of a longer story that hasn't yet been fully fleshed out. It's almost like the blurb on the back of a novel that makes you want to read the full thing. It draws you in and makes you want to know the details. I hope at some point this gets fleshed out into a full length story. It's got a lot of potential.
