Sometimes strange laws really come in handy. Our narrator is outside a bar, just taking a break, and notices a bad guy trying the handles of car doors in the parking lot. When the suspect gets to his car, he gives chase. Then the cops show up, only now, the suspect is on the roof of the narrator's truck.

This is a bit of light hearted story, but it has a serious message. Crime does not pay. I enjoyed how the narrator told the story using a very conversational tone of voice. I was rooting right along with him.

I did not spot any spelling/punctuation mistakes but I would suggest using a bigger font on WDC to make it easier to read on the eyes.

The narrator is a likable guy. There's a nice flow to this flash fiction with a strong beginning, middle, and end.

My only suggestion, and this is tough, because the story is pretty good, is maybe have the police explain the law about climbing on the car loudly enough for the suspect to hear and maybe amp up his "oh no" reaction.

Overall, a very entertaining story with a satisfying ending.
