| (4.0)  My review is based on professional editing points. It is meant to be honest, encouraging, and respectful in accordance with WDC guidelines. THE STORYLittle 9 year old Frankie is trying to be scary for Halloween and gets some tips from Dan, his brother.  WHAT I LIKEDThat was a suspenseful, scary kinda ending. Dan kinda had it coming to him.  POV NARRATION/TENSEThis is told in the 3rd person omnisicent. Past tense is used in the story. DIALOGUEThe dialogue drives the narration. It's not easy for a 9 year old to come up with a costume worthy of Halloween. OPENING The opening sets the stage for what to expect. Can Frankie scare Dan? It might take a lot to get there... CHARACTERSFrankie is a sweet kid who tries hard to capture the spirt of Halloween. I'm glad his parents were able to help. FLOW & PACINGThe opening set up the problem and end wasn't for everyone. Well done. MECHANICSI did not notice and spelling/punctuation mistakes. My only suggestion here, and it's minor and a matter of style - maybe increase the font a little to make it easier on the eyes. PARTING THOUGHTSThe title fits the story and will keep the reader on the edge of their seat with anticipation. An Angel Army Review
