*Reading* THE POEM

The poem was centered around the movie, "Night of Demons," a scary/horror movie made for Halloween and the haunting season.

*Idea* WHAT I LIKED

The poem captures the essence and creepiness of the movie well.

*Star* STRUCTURE

This is a pantoum poem with a complex repeative line scheme and an ABAB rythme scheme throughout.

*Star* MECHANICS

I did not spot any spelling/punctuation mistakes.

*Star* DESCRIPTIONS

I liked: "When a demon rises from ash," The line itself is very straight forward, but the reader's imagination can take it any direction. The demon is only as dark, creepy and foul smelling as you, the reader, let it be.


*Star* PARTING THOUGHTS/SUGGESTIONS

The poem has a nice beat and rhythm when read out loud. The title fits the poem. A creepy read perfect for the Halloween season!
