The title "Puppy" reminds me of something I saw on TV yesterday. A local animal shelter is asking the public to foster its animals over the holidays. I was at work with my other cat-crazed co-worker when we saw it. We both agreed that we would 100% foster fail and end up with too many cats. But cats aren't puppies, so let me read what I assume will be a delightful drabble.

The ending made me laugh. An uncomfortable crown. I too have a runt of the litter. My little black kitten was abandoned by a feral momma because the kitten seemed too small for life in the wild. To make up for her rough first days of life, we call her Pluto because it fits. She is black and tiny and small still at 18 months of age. But she is the sweetest snuggle cat now.

Very cute story. I think it may be about your own dog. Nothing wrong with writing about our own pets.
