This popped up in my Random Review & TRead, so here I am! This piece feels warm, thoughtful, and very personal. It does a great job showing how the narrator is drawn to family stories and old photos, and how those memories don’t always match the reality they see now. The contrast between the narrator’s playful nature and the almost legendary reputation of Pa adds interest, especially as the child starts to question whether the stories are fully true. The writing captures that moment when a kid realizes family history can be part fact and part myth, making the piece relatable and engaging. You've done a great job, thank you for sharing!
