Being more explicit is more honest, but gets a higher content rating. Is it worth it?

Poll Question:
My memoir recounts the sick bullying I endured in my teens and how it affected me in adult life. It has an 18+ rating.

It needs a revision anyway, but it is also missing a section where I was sexually assaulted by one of the bullies. If I include this missing content then I wouldn't want to be coy about it, but the more honest (i.e. detailed) I am, the higher the rating, thus reducing the potential readership.

If it were your memoir, how would you tackle it?
Poll Options:
Omit the XGC content completely to maximise potential readership
Refer to it briefly, but keep the details vague
Write honestly about it and take the higher rating hit
