Beaten

You told me that you loved me
And I actually believed you
But when you layed that finger on me
I couldn't believe it was true

We could've been through anything
Building mountains and higher
My love for you was bounteous
But your just a little liar

My friends warned me about you
Said you couldn't be trusted
I didnt listen to them I was blind
But I will now, because my heart, like metal is rusted

I'll never forgive you for what you did
I'll remember it all my life
What will happen the next time your angry
It might be your hand or maybe a knife

I hope you feel the pain I feel
Cry the tears I cried
But sincerely I don't give a damn
I couldn't if I tried

This is the last time you'll hear from me
Like i've vanished from the earth
I hope you're hurt from reading this
But now you'll know a womans' worth
